Unlike conventional cummerbund systems, the Inverted Cell Self Accessible Cummerbund System (ICSACS) is designed with self access and utility in mind. Its inverted rearward elastic cells keep AR pattern magazines and similarly sized equipment close to the body while remaining accessible when the plate carrier is worn.
The elastic construction allows fit to be adjusted quickly for the user. Built-in shock cord retention provisions support upward or downward facing pouches, while textured lift tabs can be used alone or with 550 cord to make donning and doffing the plate carrier easier.
